An important tool for sampling powders, pellets, ａnd other friable materials which may become non-homogeneous in the container. It is made of anodized aluminum ａnd has a sharp stainless steel point. The T-handle is turned to close the ports ａnd the point is inserted through the bag or directly into the bulk material far enough to cover all the ports. The handle is turned half way, opening the cells to collect the sample, then turned back to close, ａnd the sampler is removed. Each port is 3" （7.62 cm） long, 3/8" （0.95 cm） wide, volume 0.68 oz. （20 cc）.
